The Second Week of Big Teaching and the Reflection on Other Groups’ Teaching

The second week of big teaching came. As one of the person in charge of this week activity, this was the week that I stood on the stage rather than observed down in the seats.

◇ The second week of Big Teaching:

The main purpose of the second week, set by the professor,was to practice and to examine the learning outcomes for the first week. Instead of the ordinary forms of evaluation of taking test, we decided to lead an RPG-like activity as the final examination.

When I and my partner, Mina, prepared for the activity, we actually faced several difficulties. We could not precisely predict the tasks numbers or time suitable for the learner after a week of learning. This, I considered i because of the main factors of experience, and also not enough preparation since if we have more time to try it once, it would be much computable.

Fortunately, the result of the activity is quite a success. I personally thought it is a effective method at the second week for in a class time we successfully make sure of the practicing and testing by an activity that is not boring as a

◆ Reflection to other groups’ that teach:

The learning process of this design that to acquire a part of the language that can actually be used is a special and also, in my opinion, effective way. By this learning process that focused on the application and through activities, I memorize and learn quite well. Even until today, several weeks after the big teaching day, the sentences of a totally new language for me is still remembered. And I believed I can use these since the contents selected by the other groups are pretty down-to-earth and useful. Besides all of those that I learned from the teaching experience, I believed these are the best gain from these two weeks.
